How to identify high return pink diamonds and grow your wealth through any economic climate.
Published data from the Fancy Colour Research Foundation (FCRF), determined Argyle origin and natural pink diamonds from other geographical locations have only increased in value by an average of 9.5% annually since 2005. This statistic is highly significant compared to the 28% average annual increase in value of a premium Argyle branded pink diamond over the same time span.
WHY ONLY CERTIFIED PINK DIAMONDS FROM ARGYLE?
Pink diamonds with no official certification by Argyle will not be accepted in the new Rio Tinto sales platforms. Rio Tinto has recently announced they will be implementing a new concierge trading system, a recertification service and a Beyond Rare™ Tender trading platform for special sales events and several strategic collections and collaborations. They will only accept Argyle-branded pink, red and blue diamonds for these sales platforms.
GIA and Argyle Origin pink diamonds have only increased in value by a mere 1.3% annually over the past seven years, compared to premium Argyle Branded Pink diamonds that have annually increased in value by an average of 28% in the same time frame.
The colour grading system invented by the Argyle has 30 pink colour saturations, compared to seven-colour saturations in the GIA colour grading system. This makes it almost impossible to accurately value pink diamonds based only on GIA certification.
Pink diamonds certified by Argyle have an official laser inscribed lot number on their girdle, these numbers can be validated by Rio Tinto / the Argyle diamond Mine.
Only Pink diamonds certified by Argyle can be appraised by rarity. There has never been an accurate system in place to document the rarity of GIA certified or Argyle origin pink diamonds.
Natural Pink diamonds will continue to be mined for hundreds of years to come. It’s estimated that within the next few decades, these diamonds will outnumber the amount of pink diamonds officially certification by the Argyle.
Published scientific data by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), has identified that type 1a pink diamonds from the Argyle mine have superior DNA characteristics compared to all other natural pink diamonds.
Pink diamonds from the Argyle mine have stronger saturations of colour. They display the more popular cooler pink/magenta overtones and unlike pink diamonds from other origins, they do not exhibit any variance in degrees of transparency or loss of pink colour saturation in daylight.
